ZOO offers a lot of possibilities for developers to create your own apps. Apps are file based like Joomla templates, which means just copy and paste an app folder into ZOO and the app works. To make it even easier just zip your app and it can be installed through the ZOO app installer. Apps have their own content parameters, templates, layout positions, etc. They can even have their own custom elements - And all in one package!
There is so much cool stuff in that there might be some features missing in this list but we think we got all the major ones!
On Tuesday, 27 April 2010, Joomla Project announces the immediate availability of Joomla 1.5.17 [Wojmamni ama woobusani]. This is a priority release to correct two issues in version 1.5.16. Although there are no security issues fixed in this release, we consider it a security release because a security-related bug has been fixed and because many sites may be upgraded directly from 1.5.15 to 1.5.17.
The goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community.
For a designer, developer, photographer or anyone/any business creative, the website of their own is the best place to showcase their skills and services.
You may be "about to design your new portfolio website" and thinking whether you should start from scratch or get inspired from/use a template.
And, not sure to use a CMS or maybe considering to start designing it in Photoshop?
The Joomla Project needs your help in testing our next release—Joomla 1.5.12 RC. This release has 22 bug fixes and two updates are significant enough to warrant community testing. This includes an upgrade to TinyMCE and changes to the framework PHPMailer class.
