Windows 11 Taskbar Shows Window Titles Instead of App Names – How to Fix?

Issue:
On my Windows 11 Home system, the taskbar is displaying (selected) window titles instead of just the app name.

For example:

Chrome shows the title of the open tab (e.g., “20-Hour Nightcore EDM Mix” instead of just “Chrome”).
Notepad shows “example.txt – Notepad” instead of just “Notepad”.
File Explorer, CMD, and similar apps also display the current file/folder/path instead of the app name.
This behavior applies to all users on this device, and I want to disable it entirely so that the taskbar only shows app names.

Additional Info:
Windows Version: Windows 11 Home (fully updated).
Possible Causes? I may have changed a Windows setting but don’t remember what. I have not used third-party taskbar modification tools.
Apps that are NOT affected: Games, Armoury Crate, Microsoft Store, Settings, and similar apps.
Apps affected: Browsers (like Chrome), Notepad, Windows Explorer, CMD, and any app that has tabs or dynamic titles.

Question:
How can I force the taskbar to display only app names and not window titles/content?
Is this a Windows 11 feature, a hidden setting, or a bug?
Where in the registry or settings can I fix this?
