Recently, my laptop has started shutting down automatically when hibernating. Previously it only did this when going to sleep, but now the issue has spread to hibernating as well. The most recent minidump file is located here and the last 12 hours of system events are here. Note that the shutdown occurred at 1:32:40 PM.
The system logs seem to be very strange and aren’t lining up with the actual events. One of the messages is “The previous system shutdown at 7:30:22 AM on 4/11/2025 was unexpected.”, even though I only hibernated the computer at this time. I also noticed around 10 errors related to Windows minutes after the shutdown.
I’ve tried disabling fast startup, updating all AMD drivers, checking for other outdated drivers in Device Manager, and checking for corrupted system files. Windows Memory Diagnostic couldn’t find any memory errors.
