I’m trying to improve how mouse scrolling feels in Windows 10 and 11.
Smooth scrolling works fine in browsers like Chrome, but feels laggy or “jumpy” in apps like Excel, Notepad, or Windows Explorer.
I’ve tried two apps so far:
SmoothScroll – subscription-based, doesn’t always work in Excel.
ButterScroll – one-time payment, works better across more apps.
Is there any registry tweak, mouse driver config, or third-party tool that can make scrolling smoother across all apps globally in Windows?.
Looking for something that doesn’t introduce input lag or mess with other mouse behavior.
