How can I properly send document from my computer using Edge and says I must use mobile

I am having trouble with Edge. I cannot send any documents because the computer wants to use a mobile, and I have never used a mobile to send documents. I have no idea how this worked its way into this computer. I have searched for answers and really found no solutions. I went to Microsoft Edge and clicked on it, and it asked if I wanted to modify it. I clicked on it, and it said it needed to be repaired. So I said yes. Nothing happened. I am still in the same situation and cannot send any documents since Edge will not allow me unless it is a mobile document. Not happy with Edge right now. Any solutions other than buying a new computer or throwing this one in the river?
