I am facing a problem with factory resetting Windows 11 laptops which are already joined to a tenant. I would like to wipe the device and rejoin it.
I am doing the following steps:
1. Harvesting the HWID of the device
2. Deleting the device from Intune Devices list
3. Deleting the device from Entra ID devices list
4. Importing the HWID to Intune and waiting until it shows "Assigned"
5. Initiating factory reset (using the recovery environment and selecting "Cloud Download")
After the reset the device ends up on a logon screen. It is impossible to log on with anything, since it is not connected to the tenant.
How could I solve this? It would be great to end up at the OOBE screen so it would rejoin using the autopilot.
