I have a relatively high quality SanDisk USB 3.0 flash drive. I have had it for a while (years). Can these flash drives be interrogated either under Windows, Linux, or macOS to disclose any firmware information regarding lifespan left?
Will they just fail outright, or will there be signs before they fail completely?
