I have 64GB of RAM and Windows 11 is showing very high usage, 60.6gb in use and 110gb committed.
Looking at processes in the task manager the Memory column shows 96% usage which matches that, but the memory listed for all the processes add up to 10gb at most.
Sysinternals process explorer 64 showed the same data. Sysinternals now has a RamMap tool that just confuses me more. Why would 1/3 my memory be used for Page Table? It shows 20gb free, but all but 1gb is ‘active’ and only 37mb free?
How do I interpret these? I had noticed the discrepancy in % usage and totals before, but I was looking at it now because my computer was being a little sluggish which I think that is due to me rendering a video in Davinci Resolve. Once the render finished I closed Resolve and usage went down to 93% with the ~1.5gb it was using gone.
