I enter in a cell something like =c. I immediately get a horizontal list of suggestions. If I press Return, the first entry is autocompleted. The feature may be called AutoInput – it can be switched off or on with Tools → AutoInput.
Is there any way to choose a different entry from this list?
The official help suggests ctrl+tab or ctrl+shift+tab, but these move to next/previous sheet.
Other suggestions that don’t work

alt+up/down arrow does nothing

alt+left/right arrow changes the column width

F2 does nothing.
I have also tried without success: unmodified arrows, ctrl+arrow and click on a list item.
