What can stop firefox from opening f12 menu on a specific page?

I’ve been trying to examine gamejam website and games on it – but I noticed that on one of the games my browser (firefox, latest version) does not open f12 menu.

I have tested this with screen keyboard, so it isn’t some hardware malfunction of a button – and well… it keeps working on other pages
