My home internet provider is AT&T Internet Air. I have a new streaming device connected to a TV that will not connect to the router WiFi. I have multiple devices connected at 2.4GHz and multiple devices connected at 5GHz throughout my home connected to this router. The streaming device is located in the same room and is within a few feet of the router. I have tried two different streaming devices both being new out of the box. Neither will connect. I set up a Hotspot on my cell phone and both devices will connect to the Hotspot at 2.4GHz. I spent hours on the phone with the manufacturer of the streaming device and AT&T. Each is blaming the other as often is the case in a situation like this.
What might be the reason it will connect to the Hotspot but not the router? What else should I do to attack this problem?
