I have a Microsoft Word document with hyperlinks in it. While in Word, I can set up all links to open in a new window.
When I save it as a PDF document, those hyperlinks no longer open that link in a new window. I have tried all the settings under the “Target Frame…” option, but those don’t seem to persist. I have scoured settings in Adobe Acrobat, but I can’t find a way to make it work.
Is there any settings that help with this to make all hyperlinks in the document open in a new window? This PDF will be viewed from a browser.
To be clear, I am working with an accrediting body that is requiring this to be set up for them. I know I can push the CTRL button on my keyboard when I click and it’ll do it, but asking many others to change their behavior rather than comply with their requirement isn’t ideal.
