I’m using “Windows 7 Backup” with multiple machines saving to the same share.
For each machine, the backup appears to work fine, but then fails at the end, presumably while creating recovery media — which makes sense, given that these are created on the top of the share, not inside a subdirectory named after the computer.
- is this plausible, or is there another reason why multiple computers cannot use the same share for backups?
- if it is, can creation of recovery media be disabled to avoid the conflict?
