Like the title said, I am loading CS6 on Windows 11 and having a severe problem. I can install, activate and open the programs and all works. The problem is when I restart. I get a black screen and the following message
“Your device ran into a problem and couldn’t be repaired”
“Click or press enter to see other recovery options”
“Couldn’t connect to network”
“Log file: C:Windowssystem32LogfilesSrtSrtTrail.txt”
Once I get that screen the only option that works is the reset this computer which loads a clean copy of Windows and wipes out everything that is not on the original install. I can get the CMD prompt and the only drive existing is X:WINDOWS. C: is not found.
So from what I see the CS6 program somehow changes a file that controls how Windows restarts. My thought is that after install and before restart, I can still see all the files. I may be able to correct the issue if I knew which file was creating the problem.
