I am trying to make a video call from the WhatsApp desktop app. the call does connect Ok and audio is workibg OK.
When the call connects, video is shown from the laptop’s own built-in camera. Then I switch the camera from the drop-down next to the camera icon at the bottom-left of the call window. I switch to my Logitech C170 USB camera. The camera even turns on its light. But no clear image is shown. Either just monochrome square appears instead of the image or green horizintal trips.
In general my C170 works OK, When I launch Windows’ Camera app, it shows a perfect image from the 170 camera, so the problem is probably not with the camera’s hardware or driver.
I tried searching for updates in Windows Update, but nothing was found.
What can I do ?
System: Windows 11 64-bit laptop. The camera is connected through a Wawlink tower docking station’s USB port.
Laptop: Lenovo.
The system also have two monitors, connected to the same Wawlink tower.
How to fix ?
