During cleanup I noticed that %PROGRAMDATA%UbisoftUbisoft Game Launcherpatch folder is quite big, 6 GB. It contains 5-digit folders with mostly repetitive files. I can’t really find any source as to how it exactly works and if it can be safely cleaned.
I assume Ubisoft Connect application’s installer applies those files when upgrading, hence the patch name. However, why does it leave them? Is there any functional reason, such as rollbacks/downgrade possibility? Or are they required for something more important? Can they be deleeted without causing any issues?
