I recently purchased a Windows 7 Ultimate retail DVD because I wanted to experience using Windows 7 again.
I know I can rip the original DVD to create an ISO file, transfer it to a USB drive, and install Windows from there. However, that’s not what I’m looking for.
Is it possible to install Windows 7 Ultimate or any other edition directly from the retail DVD using an external DVD drive on an older MacBook Air? If so, how can I do it?
