I have always mapped Crtl+Shift+[number in number row] as key bindings for specific keyboard layouts.
At least in Kubuntu 24.06 and 26.04.1, when setting layout switches, this keybind is interpreted as Ctrl+[Shift+number in number row] symbol, for example Ctrl+Shift+3 is Ctrl+#.
Problem: when layout is switched, some number row symbols change. This makes the keybind no longer work. For example, in German (DE), Shift+3 is §, so Ctrl+Shift+3 that works in English (US) no longer works in German (DE).
As of now, to change between different non-English (US) layouts I have to switch to English (US) (mapped to Ctrl+Shift+1/Ctrl+!) first and then to the target layout.
Is there a way to force the system recognize these keybinds independently of layout as Ctrl+Shift+[number]?
