I had my domain for about 8 years and due to Covid I didnt feel like renewing it as the business wasn’t doing good. I recently started working again and wanted to get my domain back and that is when I realised that its been taken by a chinese company who is running porn there. This will badly affect my business image..
The domain just got expired few days ago and looks like the buyer hasnt renewed it. Is it that he is getting those 30 days grace time to renew it? looks like this buyer had my domain for about 2-3 years now and might not be renewing it this time. If he doesnt, I will buy it and all good! But what if he renews it again? Do I reach ICANN and they will help? What are the ways I can get it back? Obviously reaching this chinese buyer will not help as he will ask for a lot of money and I just cant afford that kind of money right now.. Has anyone faced this and knows how to get it back?
