I would like to copy one of the large apps from the Microsoft store (windows 11) to the other PC (windows 10) in the local network, just to save myself time on downloading. However, I have ran into a strange problem: yes, the folder is not owned by the user by default, and user only has “read” permissions, but I have tried everyting to make it work, and it still always says something in the lines of: “ask for permission from ____ to edit this file”. First of all, I am not editing the file, I am just copying it. Second of all, I have given all the possible permissions to all the possible users, administrators, guests, etc. The funny thing is, it sais to ask for permission from the group who owns this folder, for example “Everyone” or “Admins”, buy my user is part of both of these groups and has administrative access. What can I do in this situation?
