I am trying to run a tool/live os that needs UEFI and secure boot disabled. I have enabled legacy mode and disabled secure boot in the bios. Unfortunately, UEFI is still running. What am I missing or doing wrong?
One thing i’ve noticed is that in BIOS, it says if legacy mode is enabled. Both legacy and UEFI will be enabled and give UEFI priority. Which to me doesn’t make any sense, I don’t understand how i can boot to legacy if it will find an OS on the Hard drive via UEFI before i even get a chance to find drives with legacy.
Whenever I try to boot off of usb i get this: “No bootfile found for UEFI”
When I use Ventoy, it shows as booting in UEFI too. So even with the settings change, it still boots in UEFI.
