I need to search Google Chrome history for the entire time I used the browser (or at least for a year back). However, it appears that the standard history search goes only 3 months back. I found this article, and it recommends using History2 extension. Unfortunately, this extension doesn’t appear to exist anymore. Found more suggestions for a similar issue here, but History calendar and Enhanced History also appear to be defunct.
The only extension still active is Better History. I tried it, and it looks like not only the search goes only 3 months back, but the history itself goes only 3 months back, appearing empty beyond some date in November 2021. At first I thought that Chrome simply started clearing history beyond that automatically, but it’s not the case – I just deleted Better History, and using the default history page scrolled it down manually to September 2021, with no indication that anything is missing. So search throughout the whole history should still be possible. Any other, newer extensions that do that? Or perhaps I can retrieve these records from the file and run a search manually that way?
