So, I’ve had this issue before like 2 years ago and dont remember how i fixed it at all, i dont even know if i was the one that fixed it or if it somehow fixed itself. So basically, a few days ago it came back. one thing i remember from 2 years ago, was that if i went to system > sound > properties of my audio device. if i clicked “dont allow” on the audio and then pressed “allow” it would fix the issue for a litte while. I do also have a smart hard disk error(been there for a few months) and and a warning for my SSD(came at the same time of the crackling noise) in the settings which i didnt have back then but thought it was worth mentioning. I also reset my pc a few days after it started and there were no changes.
Edit: I’ve just realized that I failed to mention that this is not a speaker issue from my laptop and that ive tried more than one audio device and the issue persists
