I’m considering getting a new router to replace my current Centurylink one. Centurylink requires the wan port to be tagged with vlan 201. Considering using OpenBSD for the OS. Do I need specific hardware that supports vlan tagging? If so, what is required? A specific NIC chipset?

I had to empty PATH to install ORACLE Database, and I forgot to put the information back into PATH. Then I rebooted the server and it went offline. Could it be that it needs the information contained in PATH to initialize? Or is it safe doing that? Thanks!
