I got a 2.4GHz USB Wi-Fi Adapter that works out of the box in Windows 10. On Linux Mint 22, I am not sure how to make it work; not even its signal lights blink, but the device is listed as Realtek smth, or RTL8. Their QR code redirects to […]

For example on this page: https://www.hp.com/fr-fr/workstations/z8-fury.html#modal=compare-gen How can I select and copy HP Z8 Fury G6i. The only sane solution I found so far is to do a Search Tab with Google Lens on that portion of the page, but it seems very wasteful.

My Problem: The order of evaluation of Windows 11 enviroment variables. I have X_HOME, A_HOME, M_HOME. and HOME_BINS=%X_HOME%\bin;%A_HOME%\bin;%M_HOME%\bin and PATH=%PATH%;%HOME_BINS% But depending on order of vars in enviroment some var are not resolved – apparently in alphabetical order and remain as %XXX%. When I do that, I can see the taskbar, open programs via the “Start” button, …, but when I press a keyboard shortcut, like […]

I installed Windows 10 on a virtual drive using Hyper-V. When I tried to boot it on the physical machine using Ventoy, it appears in a low resolution that doesn’t match the screen, and I haven’t found any way to fix it (neither in the settings, nor in the device […]

I use a Windows laptop for browsing, working with websites, and digital marketing tasks. Recently, the laptop sometimes feels slow when I have multiple browser tabs and applications open. What are the main settings or steps I should check to improve Windows performance? I would like to know whether I […]

I am troubleshooting a website that loads slowly in desktop browsers and want to identify the main cause of the delay. The website uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and several third-party resources. I have already checked the basic page structure, but I would like to understand the best way to […]

So I implemented a script that runs every minute (and every time a connection to a network is made) that basically checks if Cloudflare Families DoH has been set for that network and if not it sets it. Overkill, I know. But I want it to be thorough to prevent […]
