my home Dell R720 server has ESXi 6.7 running eve_ng Lab for networking practice. Recently I installed an Ubuntu server on the same NIC1 as ESXi but on a separate HDD, Now Idrac 7 does not show the ESXi in the virtual console but rather the Ubuntu server, although I have moved the NIC-2 and also I cannot ping the ESXi from within the network.
is my ESXi crashed, do I need to rebuild the whole Lab all over again?
