Do graphics cards automatically output audio through HDMI?

I have a 60 inch TV and want to see what its like to play World of Warcraft on it, but do I have to run a separate cord for sound to come out of the TV speakers? Or is there a setting I can change to make the card do that?

My graphics card is NVIDA GeForce GTX 1070

I hear no sound from TV speakers when I try.
