Elastic Search Active shards showing zero

I have the following status when I check elastic search health

I believe its causing me error while doing bin/magento setup:upgrade ( getting error Could not validate a connection to elastic search. No alive nodes found in your cluster.

Is there any way to have active shards in your cluster
