I am setting a custom number format as: -£* #,##0.00-;[Colour10]£* -#,##0.00_-;-£* ” -“??-;-@–
All of the documentation I have found online uses [Color10], but that throws an error: >”Microsoft Excel cannot use the number format you’ve typed. Try using one of the built-in number formats. For more information about custom number formats, click Help.”image of error window
There is no help button to click… This formatting works as expected using the British English spelling. I am in a country where British English spelling is used, but I find it surprising that this would have regional spelling differences.
I guess my question is, would this be part of a regional language pack like in this question? How to change the language of Excel functions? Or is there something else going on here?
