For several months now my wife and I have been experiencing a problem where when I either boot up my PC or launch a steam game, her computer’s volume will jump up to 60-80% volume. To just help with the booting portion I will unplug the rj45 from my nic before typing the password on the login screen. As for the steam games, anytime I launch a game her pc volume will increase. Our PC’s are connected to a switch. Also, we both installed our operating systems around the same time. I have tried blocking her IP from my PC inbound/outbound firewall but it did not change anything. I am stumped on this. Has anyone ever heard of this? Any advice is appreciated as well.
