Grand River Partners With HoMedics On New E-commerce Sites

HoMedicsGrand River, a leading e-commerce developer, today announced the launch of multiple new online stores for HoMedics. HoMedics, through its focus on innovation, is the leading provider of personal health, wellness and relaxation products.
A Magento Enterprise Partner, Grand River replatformed three of the new web sites using Magento’s Enterprise Edition 1.9. This leading open-source e-commerce platform delivers a scalable, cost effective, online retail solution with rich features, functionality and flexibility.

“We have worked with Grand River since 2008,” said Phil Jocokes, e-commerce manager for HoMedics, “and their online sales expertise is unmatched. Beginning with our Powermat and Sharper Image Parts brands, as well as the main Homedics site, they have significantly shaped our e-commerce business.”

Following a period of unprecedented growth, HoMedics began to consolidate their US and international online sales operations, leveraging the multi-site functionality in Magento to migrate e-commerce sites for all of their brands. Enterprise Edition 1.9 allows the look and feel, navigation and integration points of each site to remain unique to the individual brand but provides one seamless content management system interface through which sites can be administered.

“We value our partnership with HoMedics,” said Scott Robertson, partner and co-founder of Grand River. “Their innovative approach has made them the health and wellness product industry leader. They are committed to bringing their customers an exceptional online shopping experience on all of their sites so the Magento platform was a perfect fit.”

Grand River also provides cloud hosting and ongoing maintenance services for the new HoMedics sites.
