For a couple months ago, I can’t connect to my mobile hotspot when I’m launching VMs on my laptop.
Whether it is Virtualbox or VMWare Player, Guest Ubuntu/Kali, my host OS (Windows 11) it doesn’t work (crashing after checking network requirements ; whereas I can connect to WiFi with no problem.
I have tried to do everything possible to no avail:
- Bridging/NAT on guest OS
- Reconfigure guest connection
- Reinstall/patch/desactivate/delete network adapters
- Restart network services
- Download again hypervisors to even purge and reinstall Windows 11 (not for these only reasons haha)
I’m getting so upset because sometimes my laptop can connect to the hotspot but once i launch virtualbox for example, it is finished and for an entire week I can’t connect. I can use the Wifi but the network security is so hardened that I almost can’t do anything on it (like connecting to a VPN etc..).
Do you have an opinion to what’s going on ? Or any solution by chance ?
P.S. my hotspot works fine with everybody else
