How can I split a utilities bill between a specific date range in Excel?

I would like to split a utilities bill between myself and 3 roommates. I would like to split the bill as equal as possible, as two of them have moved in on during different dates within the billing period. I am 100% positive this is possible to figure out within Excel, however I can’t think of the formulas! Please assist! Thanks. 🙂
