Google shows lots of results for deleting individual messages in a chat session with myself. Nothing about how to clear the entire history. I can’t even delete the chat session to see if that clears the history. In contrast, I can delete chat sessions that are not just with myself.
I tried the 3-dots at the upper-right corner of the chat window. I also went to the pane on the left side containing all the chat sessions and clicked on the 3 dots for the chat-with-self session. Neither of these 3-dots yields a menu that allows me to delete the chat session with myself nor to clear its history.
Why is chat-with-self so different? Is there a way to clear the history?
I’m not sure if it matters, but I normally access the chat-with-self using the Microsoft Teams browser app. This is because I may be accessing it from various computers with different permissions and I don’t always have access to the Microsoft Teams desktop app. On some machines/networks, I do have the Microsoft Teams desktop app, but I can’t find any options to delete a chat-with-self nor to clear its history.
