This M2 seemingly had its Windows 11 registry wiped by the new CCleaner version. Just like the title says, this M2 cannot be accessed and cannot be seen through winre or a windows installation tool on the PC it was installed. On a different PC and through an M2 reader, the M2 was detected on the Disk Management menu once but, when selecting the option to format and clicking “Accept” and comfirming the wipe warning message, an error message saying “The formatting didn’t finish correctly” popped up after 1 second, and it keeps disconnecting.
To give extra info: The problem began after rebooting the PC following the use of CCleaner to clean the registry. It was working just fine until then. The PC was trying to boot but it got stuck on the circling dots (line on W11) for a while until an error was displayed and the PC tried to reboot. Up until then, winre and winre’s cmd diskpart were able to see the M2. Tried booting from an HDD that had an old W10 image installed. It was very slow, but it reached the “welcome” screen. The desktop was a black screen with nothing, not even the mouse cursor was visible (this had never happened before when booting from it, so maybe its W10 is also corrupted, but hopefully the data in it can still be accessed normally). Tried switching boot back to the M2. It somehow worked. The PC seemed to be just fine again. After a while of using it as usual, the PC froze and had to force a shutdown from the power button. Ever since then, the M2 cannot be seen or read by winre and the diskpart list disk command, it’s also not seen by the windows installation tool on the usb drive, but it is seen on the BIOS menu along with the other 2 HDDs and the boot option the M2 has is also there to try and boot the PC through it as always.
Does anybody here have any kind of solution or advice?? Or is this M2 permanently broken??
