How to install dual boot Debian 12 on MacBook Pro (2019), with Intel and T2

After upgrading from Catalina to Ventura, it started the issue of Volume Hash Mismatch. Even after several upgrades, the issue continued. Then, I re-installed Ventura. Still the problem persists.

Objective: Install Debian 12 (weekly) on a MacBook Pro (2019) with Intel chip and T2: I followed this approach.

Issues:

  1. While installing, it showed:
non-free firmware files required for HW is missing.

  2. After installation, when rebooted: It was not shutting down.

  3. When rebooting, even with Option key: It only shows boot option for MacOS.

Can some one help me?
