Similar to: How USB port can also used as audio output? but that doesn’t solve my issue.
Windows 11.
I have Roxel RBS-770 Speakers with a USB line for Audio input to the speakers. The Instruction manual with the speakers simply says to plug the USB in and that’s it.
I have read all sorts of things that I can find (MS Community posts and similar) which don’t progress me.
System –> Sound only shows the built in Laptop speakers, no other options. The button for detecting (“pairing New Output Device”) simply does the testing but never finds anything.
The Stereo controller is set for USB and the light on the Stereo flashes accordingly.
I have looked on the Device Manager and can’t see anything in the audio section (there’s various things under USB but nothing changes when the cable is plugged in or removed).
Control Panel –> Sound –> Shows disabled devices but only shows the built in laptop speakers not the newer USB ones.
I am unable to find online any Drivers to install if that’s needed (there’s no reference it’s needed). The Speakers explicitly put the USB is for Audio IN to the Speakers but the Windows 11 can’t be told to output audio to the USB port.
The computer does beep when the USB is connected / disconnected so it recognises it’s there.
Any help to resolve this greatly appreciated .
