I have a dillema: VLC Media for Chrome OS doesn’t work [closed]

I installed VLC on my Chromebook hoping it would be a good replacement for the QX3+ Microscope app, but it won’t even work. No workaround ability. So sad. It even had a nice interface. Problem: web plugin don’t work. The sites I went to said to go to chrome://plugins but the page has been discontinued.
