IDM running and active in the tasks despite I didn’t open it [duplicate]

I have IDM software I purchased from eBay, but there’s something weired about it, whenever I do Alt+Tab it appears in the running apps window however it’s not presented in the Taskbar and I didn’t open it, could it be running as a service or something? My concern is that it might be spyware.
