Is it possible to enable Stereo Mix on Microsoft’s “High Definition Audio Device” driver?

So I’m in a bit of pickle.

I want to enable Stereo Mix on my Windows 10 device but when I install the Conexant driver from the manufacturer’s website, the speakers sound like a tin can but I can use Stereo Mix.

If I use Microsoft’s automatically provided “High Definition Audio Device” driver, the speaker sounds decent but I lose Stereo Mix.

Is there a way to get the best of both worlds or am I SOL?
