Is there an access point with routing functions?

Normally, an access point (and some wifi repeaters or expanders) receives the signal via cable (ap mode/bridge) or via wireless (WDS) and clients connect to the ap.

If we want to generate another network segment (by dhcp-server) we must connect the access point to the wan port of the router, so that the router generates the new segment to its clients.

Isn’t there a device on the market that does both things, or a method that allows it, without additional software or equipment?

PD: I have reviewed configurations of many ap and I have only seen that you can choose between router, bridge, etc. modes. But not that allow to work in both router/ap modes with dhcp-server at the same time (for example: receive WDS signal and broadcast WIFI with dhcp-server to clients, with another SSID)
