I’m following a tutorial on installing a webserver, I was able to get everything updated and I had no problem installing Apache, but after I installed PHP, I deleted the index.html and tried to create index.php and I get this error…

-bash: /var/www/html/index.php: Permission denied
I’ve tried looking around but I’m not finding anything that seems to work. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
