keeping page numbers when changing page orientation in word

For my dissertation, the first two pages need to be unnumbered. I need the numbers at the bottom to be so that Page 1 starts on the 3rd page. A few pages in, I need to have one or two pages that change to landscape, then the rest of the pages go back to portrait, all while keeping the numbers at the bottom. Please can someone help with this as when I add a break to change the page orientations, the page numbers disappear
