this is the printed error from the Kyocera that prints seemingly every 15 minutes from 4 out of 8 users that are connected by USB to these P3150DN printers. We looked in our SIEM and it is showing the usb connection to the kyocera as flapping from connected to disconnected. We solved this problem on a Ricoh 550 by turning off the ipp in the printer itself but this did not work for the kyocera machines. My boss wants to know what can be turned off on the windows 11 machines.
We tried the following that did not help: reinstalled the printer, used a new kyocera driver, I turned off the ipp registry key in one machine connected to a kyocera. None of these changes have worked. This problem began a month ago so we are removing all of the programs that were installed in February 2025 from the four windows 11 machines that have this problem. When we connect a freshly reformatted laptop the problem disappears but the bossman said to fix this problem not reflash the machines. Any ideas?
