Listrak, an email marketing firm, is holding its first online retailers forum in Denver on Thursday.
The Lititz, Penn.-based company’s networking event “invites e-tailers and industry leaders to collaborate and share best practices,” according to Listrak.
The forum is being held with Magento, an e-commerce platform. Online marketplace eBay Inc.
recently acquired Magento Inc.
San Jose, Calif.-based eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) did not disclose financial or staffing terms of the August deal, which follows eBay’s acquisition of a minority stake in the company in 2010.
The Magento platform “serves tens of thousands of merchants worldwide and is supported by a global community of solution partners and third-party developers,” eBay said.
Culver City, Calif.-based Magento provides merchants with online tools that include such things as payments and inventory management.
“Listrak’s partnership with Magento allows us to provide a fully integrated solution that immediately impacts the merchants’ revenue stream,” said Ross Kramer, Listrak CEO, said in a news release.
The event also includes results of the company’s latest “Shopping Cart Abandonment Campaign,” called LookBook, which surveys the nation’s top internet retailers.
The forum is scheduled for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at TAG restaurant, 1441 Larimer St., in Denver. Click here to register.
