I want to be able to assign OSX to open different profile launches in their own instance (that I can do fine) but assign each automater application that does this to it’s own desktop.
So, Profile 1 on Desktop 3, Profile 2 on Desktop 4, etc.
EVERY app obeys these assignments EXCEPT Firefox, and despite launching it with the command line tags to create a new instance for each profile that I open from the applet icon, it wants to force them all on the current desktop or one a firefox profile is already active on. If I MOVE one, “assign to this desktop” it moves OTHER active ones from the ones I assigned them to.
Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?
I’ve been using automater, but I am not against using the terminal and saving that as an application if I need to. And older OSX version DID THIS… but this is a new laptop on the latest OS and it’s not playing nice.
