Magento 2 POS options?

I’m looking for some Point of Sale (POS) options for using in my physical store. We’ve been using Magefan POS which has been excellent but is now discontinued and we no longer will be able to get updates or support for it. We’ve tried a couple of others in the past such as supermax and webkul and they weren’t working for us.
So now we’re basically looking for something that doesn’t have an absolutely horrendous monthly fee and simply just works.
Any suggestions would be great. This is in my opinion the worst part about Magento and there’s a glaring need for a simple POS.
