In office, it is not possible to edit an existing/default group in the ribbon. E.g. If I try to customize the ribbon by go to the “Home” tab and “Font” group, I can not add a “Strikethrough” button inside the Font group. I can only create a new group and put the button in the new group.
Is there a hack to edit the default “Font” group anyways? Where is this configuration stored?
Alternatively, how can I replicate the entire Home tab as a custom tab and modify that instead? i.e. I want to create an exact replica of the default Home tab and all groups and buttons.
