Mouse does not stop at the edge of the screen (endless movement)

Suddenly my mouse doesn’t stop anymore at the edge of my screen vertically. When I move it to the top of the screen it appears at the bottom and vice-versa. There is a small delay before it jumps to the other end so it looks like this is some wanted behavior (for another setting).

This only happens vertically and I only have a single screen attached.

Any clue what might be the cause of this?

I am using Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnaon 6.48 (X11)
