Web Hosting News – Ann Arbor, MI – Nexcess, a leading provider of Magento, WordPress, and ExpressionEngine hosting services, has announced a revision of the company’s Service Level Agreement which sets a precedent of 100% uptime.
Nexcess now guarantees that clients will have the security and peace of mind of Nexcess standing behind a goal of 100 percent uninterrupted transit to the Internet, and 100 percent uninterrupted power. Power and Internet access will be calculated in 15 minute increments across each month, and in the unlikely event that power or Internet are unavailable, resulting in downtime, clients will be entitled to credit equivalent to 5 percent of their recurring monthly fee, up to 100 percent.
“We recognize that for advertising-dependent content sites and for eCommerce sites, uptime is the number one concern,” commented Chris Wells, President and CEO of Nexcess, “Downtime is catastrophic to these businesses. We are prepared to put our money where our mouth is and guarantee that isn’t going to happen. We pride ourselves on maintaining industry-leading standards of service and client support. The updated SLA demonstrates our confidence in the quality of our infrastructure and staff.”
Nexcess is offering this Service Level Agreement update to clients on all of its hosting packages, which includes a range of WordPress and Magento solutions that run the gamut from shared hosting, through dedicated SIP servers, to enterprise-grade Magento and WordPress clusters. All Nexcess hosting is highly optimized for the particular applications that clients need to run, and great care is taken to ensure that clients’ sites are constantly up and responsive. Because Nexcess owns and operates their own data centers, the company is able to make guarantees that other hosting providers, who are dependent on third party data centers, would have difficulty living up to.
The new Service Level Agreement will go into effect immediately for new and existing Nexcess clients.
